Sustainability is fundamental to our business and it helps drive the creation of some of London’s most innovative office space. Derwent London has been at the forefront of pushing for the highest sustainability standards for many years, as demonstrated by our exemplary projects such as 80 Charlotte Street W1. As a leading property investor, we recognise our responsibility to reduce energy and carbon emissions and are developing ambitious plans in this regard.
In February 2020 we set a target to achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2030. We plan to do this through driving down energy demand across our portfolio, investing in renewable energy and offsetting the residual emissions we cannot eliminate.

In October 2019, we joined the Better Buildings Partnership and signed up to their Climate Change Commitment. We also became the first UK REIT to sign a Green Revolving Credit Facility and developed our Green Finance Framework. For more information, please click the links below.
