Derwent London is sponsoring Oculus - a temporary urban park for anybody and everyone to rest, recharge and play. Designed by Roz Barr Architects it is the latest in a series of temporary interventions in Store Street's South Crescent testing ideas for the future use of this small but special piece of public realm. 7,000 military grade sandbags inspired by the WWII Eisenhower Centre at the other end of Alfred Place have transformed what is usually an under-used car park.
